Delivery
What
is the minimum order?
We
do not have a minimum order.
What
is the fuel surcharge?
As
of March 21, 2008, we have reluctantly instituted a modest fuel
surcharge to every order, in order to offset the rising cost of
fuel.
As
you are no doubt aware, oil prices have risen drastically over the
past 2 years, and have just hit yet another record high. We are
a small family-owned company, and fuel is normally our third largest
direct expense, after staff and rent – and it affects our
costs of operation in countless other ways. In the past year and
a half, fuel surcharges from our suppliers have increased tremendously.
Until now, Costless Express has absorbed these costs as an operating
expense without raising prices, while most of our competitors have
implemented fuel surcharges years ago.
At
the end of each month, we will review the average regular grade
gas prices for the preceding month and make adjustments to the fee
based on the cost per litre. The table below illustrates how the
surcharge will be applied, beginning with a $1.00 fuel surcharge
at $.75/litre and increasing based on the ranges identified. The
surcharge will increase in the same increments should fuel prices
rise above $1.80/litre.

Unless
an order is specifically exempt, this fee will be charged to all
customers and appear on invoices as a separate line item. Both GST
and provincial sales taxes will apply. Individual order size and
delivery location have no bearing on the surcharge and regular delivery
terms still apply.
The following
order types are exempt from the surcharge:

Back orders, order corrections, orders for pick-up and no-charge
orders
- Special
orders shipped directly to the customer from the supplier
- Orders
that already have an ‘order handling charge’ applied.
The environment is in distress, and energy prices
continue to climb, but there are things Costless Express, you and
your company can do to ease this problem. Please consider placing
bigger, less frequent orders to offset the numbers of deliveries
and trucks on the road.
How
do I get free delivery?
All
orders placed before 1 pm will be delivered free the very next business
day! Free delivery is limited to our local trading area. Please
call for our out of town shipping rates.
When
do I have to place my order to have it delivered the next business
day?
Placing
your order by 1:00 pm PST (Monday – Friday) will guarantee
delivery the very next business day. Orders outside our local trading
area may take longer.
Can
I have my order delivered on a weekend?
Costless
Express does not currently provide Saturday or Sunday deliveries.
Do
you ship outside the Lower Mainland?
Yes,
we can ship your order anywhere in Canada and the United States.
Currently we ship most of our orders within British Columbia in
one – two business days. If you would like to find out more

Can
I track my order?
You
have enough things to worry about without wondering where your order
is. Costless Express is proud to boast a 99.8% on time same and
next business day delivery rate! (With Mother Nature’s co-operation,
of course.) If you place your order before 1:00 pm PST (Monday –
Friday), it will be delivered the very next business day by 5:00
pm PST within our local trading area. If you require an exact time
of delivery or would like to request a special time, we are here
to accommodate you. Please call our Sales Department at (604) 444-4467.
Do
you use couriers or your own trucks?
Both!
Costless Express is proud of our own fleet of identifiable trucks
and friendly, trained, uniformed drivers, but we are also very happy
with our external fleet of trucks from the exceptional courier companies
we have hand picked.
Your
order will be delivered on time, every time! This we guarantee.
Our driver will sort your order, stock your cupboards, stack copy
paper or whatever it takes to make your delivery from Costless Express
the easiest part of your day. Evem singing Happy Birthday is not
out of the question!
What
if my order is damaged or missing an item?
If
your order arrives in a less than perfect condition, we want to
know about it. Please contact our sales department immediately at
